Sometimes, to create a play dough garden, one needs their play dough to look like dirt. Coffee grounds can really help to accomplish both the look and the texture of dirt. When the play dough is ready, the children can add toy insects, snakes, vegetables, flowers to it and more.

Earthy Gardening Play Dough

2 cups flour
1 cup salt
1/2 cup dark Coffee Grounds
1 1/2 Tablespoons Cream of Tartar
2 cups water
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil

Put the ingredients in a saucepan. Mix well to combine.

Place saucepan on the stove over medium heat, stirring continuously until a stiff ball of dough forms in the middle.

Remove the warm dough from the saucepan and cool it until you can knead it. Knead for 1-2 minutes.
