Some parents think that homemade play dough requires too much effort. It doesn’t. This play dough recipe takes 10 minutes to make and children can happily assist.

10-Minute Play Dough Recipe

2 cups flour

3/4 cup Salt

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

4 tablespoons cream of Tartar

2 cups Water

 

Combine all ingredients in  a pot (add water gradually, mixing well.) Continue to stir, while cooking on a medium heat, until the dough begins to form a ball in the center of the pot. Cool and knead.

Separate into balls. Add a different color of food coloring to each ball. Knead again, this time wearing rubber gloves to not stain your hands.
