Everyone has seen toilet paper tube crafts. I saved many toilet paper tubes and wanted to take our crafting to the next level, so the kids made a toilet paper tube ocean. Firstly, they talked about what lives in the ocean and then, using toilet paper tubes and tissue paper, they made toilet paper tube ocean.

The children made fish, mermaids, sharks and an octopus. For the fish, you need to glue  pieces of  tissue paper over the toilet paper roll. Then cut a small triangular fin and a triangular tail out of tissue paper and glue these to the toilet paper tube. Finish off by drawing the eyes with a  a marker.

For the mermaid, draw the facial features and the bikini top. Glue a fish tail, made out of tissue paper and some strands of hair, also made out of tissue paper.

For the shark, cut a row of teeth out of printer paper. Glue that row along the age of the toilet paper roll ( trim off any excess teeth.) Glue  a piece of blue or gray tissue paper over the toilet paper roll. Cut three triangles out of printer paper to make fins and draw the eyes.

For the octopus, cut eight strips of tissue paper. Glue  a piece of tissue paper over the toilet paper roll. Glue the eight strips onto the bottom of the roll and draw the face of your octopus.

Line the inside of the cardboard box with blue tissue paper.Place the ocean creatures inside. You can also add toy fish, etc. Cut seaweed out of green tissue paper and glue it to the box, too.
