Gardening season is here. Gardening Play Dough Sensory Tub is both educational and fun. It’s a great way to occupy your toddlers and preschoolers, while you are out actually gardening. I am all for children helping around, but the last time I asked my kids to pull out the weeds, they got all my spinach out. Another time, my toddler poured an entire bottle of organic fertilizer all over my kale, killing it completely. So, a¬†Gardening Play Dough Sensory Tub is a safer gardening alternative.

Gardening Play Dough Sensory Tub

A small toy rake ( I didn’t have it, hence the fork.)

Seeds of any kind

Leaves, flowers, plants, small rocks, sticks of all kinds ( ask the kids to gather these.)

Black and green play dough.

My children created a pretty nice garden using these materials.
