Many skincare items are labeled “natural,” yet not all of them are. Furthermore, not many of them do what they claim to do for your skin. The following is a list of products that I have been using daily for a while. In my opinion, they are all amazing, natural and most importantly, they all work.

Don’t forget that good nutrition with healthy fats, large amount of water and ample amounts of antioxidants stands strong as an important skincare item.

Cleansing:

I believe in cleaning the skin, using a very simple method, which is based in Ayurveda. First, smear some coconut oil on the dirty face. Then, rinse it off with a drop of Bronner’s soap and water, using circular motion with your fingers. This keeps the skin hydrated and clean.

Serums:

Hyaluronic Serum

Hyaluronic acid absorbs moisture into the upper layers of skin, making the face look more moisturized and “glowy.” While its action is largely superficial ( acting on the top layers of the skin,) it does make fine lines less noticeable. This is my favorite natural hyaluronic acid serum, with high acid concentration.

Vitamin C serum

Vitamin C is a proven anti-aging antioxidant and if you start using this natural Vitamin C  serum, you’d see the results quickly! Sun damage, fine lines, flaky skin goes away. You can see your skin getting its luster and its glow back, as it is getting the nourishment it needs.

Retinol serum

While not as strong as prescription retinol, this evening retinol serum ( which includes hyaluronic acid and the helpful antioxidant astaxanthin)  has a 2.5% retinol concentration and does wonders for damaged skin repair, overall tone and fine line disappearance.

Eye cream:

Magic 7 Eye Cream

With a  huge array of eye creams available, this simple, 100%natural and preservative-free eye cream really stands out. Moisturizing and diminishing crow feet, the Magic 7 eye cream, made from hand-harvested fresh herbs, smells amazing, too.

Moisturizers:

Rosehip Oil

Rosehip Oil is all I have been using as a moisturizer for about four years now. It is a naturally rich source of essential fatty acids, which regenerate skin cells and repair damaged skin tissue. This oil quenches dry, sun damaged skin and helps improve the appearance of burns, scars, wrinkles and stretch marks.

Nourishing and healing cream:

Plantain cream

This 100% natural plantain cream, made with four different healing herbs: plantain, calendula, St. John’s wort, and comfrey, is 100% preservative-free. Incredibly regenerative, this cream helps collagen production tremendously. I love putting it on scars, reddened skin, bug bites, sunburn or any kind of irritation, as it heals and soothes it immediately. It is also a spectacular nourishing cream for dry skin.

Overall great product:

Argan oil

Argan oil  from Russell Organics is 100% pure Argan Oil, which has been gently deodorized, so it is smell-free.  This oil  greatly improves skin tone, adds sheen to your hair and helps with dry cuticles.
