When we learn a  new scientific concept at homeschool, I like to make a visual model of it for the kids to understand the concept better. Life Cycle of a Frog Model was easily made from play dough.

First, we read about the life cycle of a frog in an encyclopedia. Then, we watched frog eggs become tadpoles, froglets and frogs on youtube. Finally, we made a Life Cycle of a Frog Model. The kids created a body of water from blue play dough and then made  eggs, a tadpole, a froglet and a frog from play dough. Finally, we labeled everything on the model.
