Autumn Leaf Bookmarks
You need: a roll of wide clear tape, some small leaves, scissors, an iron and maybe construction paper and glue.
The leaves have to be narrow enough to fit on top of the tape.
Firstly, iron the leaves on medium setting for about a minute or two. This takes the moisture out of the leaves, keeping them dry, yet still pretty. This part should be done by adults.
Cut a piece of clear tape the length of a bookmark and put it sticky side up.
If using construction paper, cut a piece of it, identical in size to the piece of tape you had cut.
Glue the leaves, pretty side up to the paper.
Carefully place the paper on top of the piece of tape you had cut.
Cut a piece of clear tape the length of the first piece of tape. Put the second piece of tape over the leaves, aligning it with the first piece of tape.
