Just in time for Halloween, we were studying skeleton and bones at homeschool. Firstly, we read about the bones in The Human Body book, then we colored some bones we had learned in our anatomy coloring book, then we worked with bone stickers in our human body sticker book and finally we made a nice skeleton out of Q-tips.
You can make this craft as specific as you’d like. Since I had two preschoolers working with us, I decided to make it simple. You can create every little bone on the hands and the foot, if you’d like.
You need: Q-tips, scissors, Elmer’s glue, a sheet of dark construction paper, white paper, pen
Place a picture of a skeleton in front of you for reference.
Cut a skull out of white paper. Glue it onto the dark paper and draw teeth and holes for the eyes on the skull.
Glue the “Q-tip bones” onto the skeleton.
