My garden produced  lot of fresh tomatoes this year and I made a large batch of Healthy Marinara Sauce From Scratch. This sauce is made of all fresh ingredients and is great with pizza, pasta; is delicious on a sandwich, with vegetables and more.  This sauce can be stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. It can be frozen, too.

If you slice a zucchini with a vegetable peeler, you can make raw zucchini noodles, which are great with this Marinara sauce, too.

  2. Simmer over a low heat for about 1 hour.
