White play dough is a wonderful sensory tool for children’s creativity and imagination. White play dough can be anything: it can be the blue sky and the green grass. And when the kids are done playing, you can add a teaspoon or two of food coloring and make this play dough any color you wish, thus giving it a second life.

White Play Dough
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup salt
2 tbsp. cream of tartar
1 cup water
Mix all ingredients, except for water in a medium pot. Gradually add water and mix again. Set the pot on a medium heat and cook, while mixing for 3-5 minutes. When the dough forms a ball in the middle of the pot, it’s ready. Take it out of the pot, cool, knead and get ready to play!
Optional: Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the cooked dough.
