10 Fun And Healthy Lunches For Kids
  • Who said healthy lunches are boring? If your kids are not fans of healthy foods, or if you would like them to try something different and fun for lunch, try these suggestions:
  • Dipping Lunches: Fruit and veggie slices dipped in blended fruit (mango is the best,) peanut butter,  or hummus.
  • Omelet Wrap: Use an omelet as a wrap.
  • Sculpture Lunches: Use cubed  cheese, watermelon, cucumbers, apples, pineapple, banana chunks, tofu and mini pretzel sticks to create fun and interesting edible structures.
  • Face sandwiches: Spread peanut butter on a slice of bread. Give kids raisins, berries, pretzels and small fruit pieces to create faces.
  • Toothpick Lunches: Cube everything and serve with toothpicks.
  • Cookie-cutter sandwiches: make a sandwich and cut it into any shape you want using a cookie-cutter.
  • Muffin tin meal :Place healthy foods in a muffin tray or in an ice-cube tray and serve.
  • 1-2-3 Lunches:  This lunch always  contains  foods you can count. For example:
  • 1 small dessert ( try raw cookies)
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 gluten-free crackers
  • 4 cheese squares
  • 5 apple slices
  • 6 almonds
  • 7 carrot sticks
  • 8 blueberries
  • Roll ups:  Roll less healthy foods in green leaves, such as collard greens or kale. with a little filling inside
  • Move the meal outside, because it makes everything taste better!
